With over 20 years of experience under her belt, Kate has an effortless knack of seeing the end result and the path to get there. Kate works with all of our clients doing the things (aka the legal work) as well as providing strategic direction for matters.
These days, you’ll find Kate on the road while she travels around Australia with her pug, Edgar! Be sure to ask Kate where she is in the country in your consultations and you might just be treated to a tour of a new place!

The Law Student
Having started with us only three months after the creation of the firm back in 2012 - Hayley is a special and integral part of our team.
Working closely with Kate, Hayley’s knowledge of the administrative side of our legal work is outstanding. This, combined with her authentic and welcoming nature means you instantly feel at ease in what naturally feels like a daunting path ahead.
After-hours, you will find Hayley hanging out with her dogs at the beach, planning her up and coming wedding, or building on her knowledge of law - now studying to be a lawyer herself.

Having started with us in 2015, Tarryn has since left, travelled around Australia, had a baby, come back and is now the controller of all things finance.
Tarryn is the engine of klplegal. making sure the finances are on track, helping clients navigate through the processes and also making sure Kate does what she is meant to do! One might say Tarryn has the hardest job in the firm!
After-hours, you will find Tarryn with her son and partner camping around the region or visiting the beautiful Magnetic Island.
